Trant Engineering have an immediate opening for a Project Manager to oversee a GBP12m construction & civil engineering project in Berkshire

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience of NEC Option C (Target Cost)

We are open to both contract and permanent employment options

We have over 800 employees and with a healthy forward order book with a projected turnover of GBP180m this year, it is an exciting time to join the business.

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee a GBP12m civil engineering project in Berkshire. This is the modification to an existing building and works comprise of RC installation, formwork, adaptions to various underground services, construction, exterior cladding, Steel Frame build, M&E Fitout etc.

The Project Manager will have a background in civil engineering and a history of delivery projects safely, within time and budget.

The Project manager should also have experience of NEC Option C (Target Cost)

As well as having strong commercial awareness, applicants should have an excellent technical ability in this sector and be a strong manager of people, possessing the ability to get the most out of your team.

Reporting into a Contracts Manager, duties include but are not limited to;

• Overseeing all works and managing the site team
• Ensuring project delivery within program & budget
• Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
• Client interface
• Management of subcontractors
• Progress reporting

Qualifications / Background

• Experience of NEC Option C (Target Cost)

• HND/BEng in civil engineering or by experience
• CSCS
• SMSTS
• Steel frame
• Excavations
• New build
• M&E Fitout

Previously Security cleared would be beneficial.
