Berneslai Homes has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join their team based in Barnsley. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP38,296 to GBP41,493 per annum plus benefits.

The Finance Business Partner role:
We have an exciting opportunity for two Finance Business Partners to join us where you'll work closely with our Finance Manager to provide a range of financial services including budget preparation, budget monitoring, closing of accounts, preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Finance Business Partner:
Preparing financial information to feed into the annual budget setting process Preparing and presenting the monthly budget and monitoring information to budget holders, highlighting key variances Maintaining SAP budgets in line with corporate guidance and timetables Working closely with the Finance Manager in closing the Company accounts in line with financial regulations and Council timetables Responding to External Audit queries and provision of information as requested Calculating the financial implications of any proposed new developments Preparing grant bids, applications, and claims What we're looking for in our Finance Business Partner:
ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA qualified, with two years post qualification experience Experience of providing financial support services within a service environment for a minimum of three years Ability to problem solve and look for solutions and opportunities in a changing environment. The ability to demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working Ability to create and interpret complex excel spreadsheets, incorporating intermediate formulas Ability to prioritise, plan and co–ordinate workload with accuracy Ability to communicate financial information with a range of people. Possess high professional standards, organised and able to work on own initiative, managing a heavy and challenging workload
