My client, a large NHS Trust based in the South West is looking for and Interim Head of Workforce Planning for an initial 6 month period.

This key role is to lead and drive a proactive approach for workforce planning across the Trust, with robust processes, mechanisms and tools to plan future workforce needs.

This includes taking account of changing service delivery models and ensuring that there is synergy with financial and activity models.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of the implementation of the People and Education Strategies, with a particular focus on workforce planning, role redesign and HR information systems and how they align to the Trust's strategic direction, and Trust 2025 Strategy.

You will provide strategic leadership on the commissioning and planning for future workforce requirements, working with both internal and external colleagues to ensure that commissioning and planning assumptions are credible.

The post holder will also assist with workforce planning activities and modelling required as part of business and activity planning in line with internal and external requirements.
