An NHS organisation based in Surrey is looking for an interim HR Business Partner to join them on an initial 6 month basis with the opportunity to go permanent.
The Purpose of this role is to provide advice and support to managers on a range of HR management issues including, but not limited to, change management and individual employee relations issues such as Discipline, Grievance Management, Poor Performance, Attendance Management and Flexible Working Applications.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work with the wider People Directorate to create a high performing, inclusive culture, to continually improve service to the business, positively influencing the team and Directorate's reputation within the organisation and the community.
- Represent HR in the directorates and supporting other areas of the HR function to deliver aligned service that meets organisational needs.
- Facilitate and lead on employee relations cases, advising managers on best practice, ensuring that advice given takes account of good employment practice.
- Communicate and understand complex information in often emotionally charged and occasionally hostile and antagonistic situations.
- In conjunction with the HR Business Partnering Manager, use workforce data and analytics to support strategic workforce planning for the organisation.
- Apply a structured change management approach and methodology that recognises the impact of change initiatives.
- Develop and Deliver training on workforce issues including policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven track record of working collaboratively and the ability to build relationships quickly at all levels.
- Experience of working within a unionised environment and in change management negotiations.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
