As Assistant Director of Finance you will be responsible for budget setting, forecasting and managing a team that need strong leadership. This is initially a 3 month role with a strong possibility of an extension thereafter.

My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant with extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting, as well as experience of providing strong leadership to teams. Experience within education, housing or the NHS would be useful but not essential.
You should be available to start this role in February.
Job Offer
£65,000-£80,000 / equivalent day rate dependent on experience
The opportunity to work from for 2-3 days per week

- Production of financial plans, budgets and long-term forecasts
- Managing the monthly reporting
- Support the capital investment programme - reviewing business cases and managing the budgets for projects
- Managing, guiding and leading a team of 2 Direct Reports and 10 Indirect Reports
