My Client is a London Borough Council looking to recruit an Interim Head of Capital Delivery to be be responsible for supporting project managers across the council delivering capital funded projects to provide assurance to the council s leadership that the required discipline, governance and rigour is in place to enable successful delivery in accordance with the Council's PPM Approach.
As part of this you will lead a team of programme and project managers to provide high quality and professional resources to deliver projects and programmes across the organisation, as well as working with project managers managed within services.
To Be considered for the Interim Head of capital Delivery, You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience.
You have substantial leadership experience working in a PMO and / or capital programme / project delivery in a complex environment, with a track record of successfully delivering challenging development / capital projects / programmes.
• You are an expert communicator with an ability to engage with complex concepts and issues and communicate these clearly and simply both verbally and in writing to a broad range of stakeholders.
• You are skilled at planning to enable you to resource the corporate projects and programmes efficiently and effectively with a focus on value for money.
• Your will be a corporate player with a focus on delivering the organisational objectives and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Managing Successful Programmes (or equivalent)
PRINCE 2 / APM (or equivalent)
Chartered member of CIOB, RICS or similar
