Based: Central London

Salary: £220,000 - £250,000 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits

Chief Financial Officer - About the role

Working closely alongside the CEO and sitting on the Board, the Chief Financial Officer will take overall responsibility for the finance function and play a key role in the strategic direction of the business.At the right time you will also lead an exit on behalf of the current backers. Duties will include:

• Overseeing the smooth running of the entire finance function
• Develop and implement financial strategy across the UK and support international expansion
• Provision of insightful performance analysis and strategic evaluation
• Preparation of reports for Board of Director meetings
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Communicate with investment teams and develop strong banking relationships
• Manage and supervise a small finance team
• Ad hoc strategic tasks as delegated by the CEO

Chief Financial Officer - Candidate requirements

This role requires an experienced finance professional , Finance Director / CFO who can operate strategically and hands on.

• Degree educated, and a qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA with at least 12 years PQE
• 12 years + of proven finance experience within a rapid growth business and ideally within an international environment
• Experience in technology, infrastructure or energy sectors highly advantageous
• Deep understanding of commercial finance and business strategy
• Successful track record of raising finance
• Previous experience of transacting an exit on behalf of shareholders
• An excellent team player with a confident, outgoing personality and a commercial mindset
• A strong communicator who has the ability to implement and influence change at all levels.
• Previous line management experience essential
