This fantastic media company is looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel.
This company works with leading publishing and consumer brands in the UK and is a key player within the media monitoring market. The company are a fundamental component within the media industry, efficiently providing rights and data to agencies, journalists, brands and publications.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be working closely with the commercial, licensing, media monitoring and technology teams and will be a respected member of the team. Your role will include negotiating commercial contracts, GDPR, IP and technology agreements.
There is a great culture within the team. Ideally the successful applicant will work from their office in Royal Tunbridge Wells (one day a week), but they will also consider remote candidates.
Applicants must have a strong academic background and trained and qualified into a TMT department of a respected law firm with a focus on commercial, tech or media work. In-house experience will be beneficial but is not essential.
