My client, a Legal 500 ranked regional firm based in the West Midlands are looking for a Head of Medical Negligence and Personal Injury. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an experience Solicitor to manage and develop their staff, along side handling your own caseload.
Candidate:

Candidate:
- Minimum 5–year PQE within Medical Negligence and Personal Injury.
- Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Law Society accreditations.
- Strong people management skills and experience of running and managing a team.
- Budgeting skills and commercial awareness.
- Relevant experience handling a wide variety of cases.
- Strong understanding of current AML regulations, SRA Accounts Rules and Code of Conduct.
- Full and clean driving licence with us of a car.
- Day–to–day management of the department, ensuring staff are trained and development paths in place.
- Marketing and business development of the department.
- Managing your own caseload.
- Organise and attend all appropriate internal and external training seminars.
- Responsible for the departments achievement of KPIs.
- working knowledge and application of accounting and finance systems within the firm.
- Manage complaints that may arise in the department.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours if required.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
