Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a public sector organisation, who are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner on a 6 month contract basis.

You will receive a competitive daily rate of GBP450 and the contract will see you INSIDE IR35.

The client is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to manage the month end accounting and reporting process. You will lead the production of the monthly management accounts and investigate and report on significant budgetary variances.

Main Duties/tasks:

• Lead the production of the monthly management accounts and investigate and report on significant budgetary variances, advising on the necessary remedial action and monitoring the implementation of these actions
• Manage the annual and quarterly budget process including the production of key data and financial analysis
• Support senior managers and budget holders by providing specialist advice on key strategic financial management issues including capital accounting, VAT compliance, budgeting and forecast outturns, financial planning and risk management
• Be a key point of contact for the finance business partner team and other Finance staff, providing support and guidance on financial management including budgeting and forecasting
• Experience in a finance leadership role within public sector providing effective professional advice (desired)
