2023 is set to be a complex year for UK Central Government. High delivery expectations span challenging areas, such as the ever–evolving consequences of the climate crisis and the enduring health and economic implications of the pandemic.
Our client is a central government department, looking to appoint an interim Assistant Finance Business Partner. This role will see you supporting specific stakeholder groups to make difficult but critical decisions about their financial position.
The role of Assistant Finance Business Partner is ideally suited to a qualified finance professional, with experience producing management accounts and journals. A collaborative communication style and the ability to guide and influence non–finance colleagues regarding financial matters would be an advantage.
Due to the quick delivery expectations of the team, this suits an individual with current knowledge of central government finance, FReM and value for money requirements.

- CTC–level clearance (or higher) is required by the client
- This is a swift–moving position and quick application is advised
- Hybrid working is available, with staff on site 2 days per week
- This role falls within IR35 regulations
