Job Role: Content Strategist
Location: Fully remote/hybrid
Pay rate: 27.11 per hour
Contract: Fixed term (Maternity Cover) Feb – Oct with possibility of an extension

As the Content Strategist you will be responsible for supporting the International Product Marketing Leader in developing, planning and executing the content plan that assists in acquisition, retention and engagement of customers and prospects in EMEA, APJC and LATAM regions.

While the focus of your role will be on the content generation (writing and copy editing), you will also be required to help with research, internal stakeholder communication and presentation building.

The key tenets of your role will be:

–Developing localized content
–Execute the existing FY23 content plan (blogs, e–books and solution brochures) for the key countries in EMEA & APJC
–Ongoing research of cybersecurity news/ trends to identify opportunities to develop content in the key focus countries
–Read Company Secure press coverage reports to get a deeper understanding of the topic that the company is pushing / topics that interest the media
–Constantly analyze content performance to build a deeper understanding of content consumption trends as well as future content needs.
–Drive creative production forward in collaboration with various teams

Planning:
–Support the International Product Marketing Leader in developing the annual content plan for FY 2024
–Building awareness & mindshare
–Generate awareness of Duo content within the comany
–Advise on suitable angles to position Duo's news, including appending to broader narratives that Cisco Secure is pushing.
–Competencies (Attributes Needed To Be Successful In This Role)
–Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
–Proven experience in writing & copy editing of 7+ years
–Proven content development and/or content strategy experience
–Self–starter who enjoys working autonomously in the development of project plans, requirements, adheres to timelines and produces quality deliverables.
–Ability and willingness to stretch from strategic thinking and influencing to the details of execution in order to drive exceptional business results.
