Financial Controller

Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a successful Essex/East London based services business who are in need of a new Financial Controller to head up the finance function helping to support business growth and profitability.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and commercially focused leader with the ability to operate both strategically and technically whilst supporting the wider business operationally.

Working with the CEO, a few key accountabilities & deliverables

Working with the senior management team in formulating strategy and long term plans.

Preparation/Submission of Annual Statutory Accounts Pack including liaising with Auditors.

Responsible for overall financial control and day to day reporting.

Lead & develop the finance team.

Lead and manage the budgeting process.

Full management of Statutory reporting and month end requirements

Full responsibility for all management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cash–flow management

Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.

Leading all necessary reporting, producing relevant MI for Director level

A few requirements in order to be considered:

Fully qualified accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA

Relevant senior finance experience and sufficient PQE

Team Management experience

Team player with a positive can–do attitude

Strong IT skills

Salary of GBP80,000 – GBP100,000 subject to experience
