Looking for a great business development opportunity with a dynamic, innovative growing software company who specialise in developing software solutions that help police forces and other public safety agencies deliver a better service to the community, more efficiently and with the best intelligence in hand?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Professional with a passion to continue our expansion here in the UK and abroad. Software sales experience is not as essential as your ability to communicate and understand our niche client s requirement.
This is a great opportunity for a Business Development Executive to build a career in a well– established business, make your mark, with full management support.
Key responsibilities, Business Development Manager:
- Working as part of bid team to build and write proposals for public procurements (majority of business is via tenders)
- Bring ideas and technical information together through fluent English to promote the business
- Engage with clients, through conferences, exhibitions etc
- Travel throughout UK and abroad (France in particular) to meet clients and promote business through structured demonstration
- Support and develop relationships with current clients
- Work alongside CEO and Commercial Assistant to prepare bids and contractual documentation
Personal specification, Sales Executive:
- Passionate about sales and business development with a proactive approach
- Proven sales experience, in particular software sales
- Ability to present and demonstrate technical/software solutions
- Be able to travel throughout the UK and abroad
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- The ability to work as part of a small, hardworking but fun and engaging team
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients at all levels
- Good IT skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to work with effectively with police officers and other public sector agencies
- Working with the police force you will need a DBS check
