Interim Part-Time Service Charge Manager

Are you a strong team leader with excellent knowledge of Service Charges? Are you an expert in Social Housing? Are you ready for an interim role that will see you add critical value to a series of key projects?

My client is a well–established Social Housing organisation in South London, currently recruiting for an Interim Part–Time Service Charge Finance Manager on a six–to–nine month contract with key responsibilities including:

• Follow on from the Service Charge estimates process that has recently been completed
• Lead the team through audit taking place in spring/summer
• Lead the Service Charge review project, identifying areas for improvement and take a leading role in recovering service charges
• Take a leading role in the new systems implementation and be the subject matter expert for the Service Charge module
• Lead a small team in rents and service charges, ensuring stability during challenging economic times and maintain the team's motivation levels.

The role can be very flexible and the ideal candidate will work three days per week. Fully remote options can be considered, however ideally a presence in the South London office is desired.

This should be seen as an excellent opportunity to make a huge impact in a short space of time and continue the good work done by the previous incumbent. There is much to be achieved and the ideal candidate with strong service charge knowledge will find this to be a role from which high levels of satisfaction can be drawn.

• Hold strong service charge knowledge, ideally within a Social Housing setting, but those candidates with service charge leadership experience in the private world should still apply
• Be a strong team leader who can motivate a diverse team
• Ideally come with experience of completing service charge review projects, having gone above and beyond the production of service charge accounts to act at higher levels of strategic influence.
