Head of Operations

My client is a successful property consultancy and leading co–living operator, with c.GBP250m worth of assets currently under management, and over 1200 professional tenants. This company is growing rapidly (having recently bought out two competitors) and has an aim to increase their portfolio stock further with built–to–rent assets.They are now looking to add a vital person to their structure and are pleased to welcome applications for their newly created Head of Operations position.The directors of this business are looking for a dynamic thinker – someone who is willing to review the current operational processes & procedures and who is excited by the challenge of implementing new, more effective ways of working. You should have experience of change management, and possess the right levels of energy & charisma to deliver on new streamlined plansWithin this role you will be responsible for managing a team of 12, including Property Managers, an Office Manager, Inventory Clerks, Compliancy Officers, and Administrators. You will oversee the processes & procedures covering hugely important elements of the company's day–to–day operations, including: Operational budgeting Property Management Compliancy Furnishings Move–Ins / Inventories Off–boarding Revenue offsetting Online reviewsComing from a similar Operations position, you need to have strong knowledge of the residential property management space, ideally including experience of working with HMOs.You should also have a strong background in people management, with the proven ability to instil trust and to inspire and lead from the front. This is a permanent position based in West London. The hours of work will be 9am–6pm Monday to Friday, although an element of flexibility may be required on occasion.
