What you'll do

As the Programme Manager for Asset Management within Group Service Management, you will

• Define and supervise the programme purpose, objectives, scope as well as the principles and Critical Success Factors. Exercise all the attributes encouraged of a Programme Manager including scope management, plan management, budgetary control, change control, risk and issue management.
• Build strong and collaborative relationships across the business, operational and delivery areas and be seen as a trusted Asset Management delivery resource. This will include building cohesive and efficient matrix cross–functional delivery teams.
• Build collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across business, operational and delivery areas as a 'trusted advisor', in order to align on recommendations, guide them towards feasible solutions, resolve issues and agree on delivery strategy without disrupting delivery initiatives.
• Support risk evaluation, concept shaping and evaluation in the very early stages of an initiative, using delivery expertise and knowledge. This will include early planning and leading the initiation stage to ensure a recommendation is made in as expedient a manner as possible.

What you'll bring

• You will have a pragmatic, results and delivery, oriented mentality, with a track record of having facilitated large programmes for very large cross–enterprise initiatives, ideally in industry related to Sky's core products, but this proven track record is not crucial. We want people who have delivered large initiatives from start to finish and have experienced all phases of a delivery lifecycle.
• You will have vision, drive, tact, and the ability to make things happen in an environment of ambiguity, complexity, and multiple stakeholders, being able to influence others without direct authority.
• We need you to be an outstanding facilitator who can resolve tension and increase collaboration towards shared goals in any situation, and who is able to form effective relationships with a range of individuals at all levels in the organisation.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10–minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
