Head of Treasury and Business Planning First Choice Homes Oldham Oldham Hybrid Working

Castlefield Recruitment are partnering exclusively with First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) in order to appoint a new Head of Treasury and Business Planning. Key responsibilities for the position include;

• Providing FCHO's financial planning service, producing and managing FCHO's 30 year financial plan including supporting the delivery of FCHO's short/medium term financial strategy, including assessment of Value For Money in our plans
• Taking responsibility for all treasury management services including cashflow reporting, investment proposals and regulatory reporting alongside supporting the development of FCHO's treasury strategy and policies and procedures, inclusive of managing compliance with FCHO's loan facility agreement
• Managing FCHO's VAT requirements including accounting for VAT Shelter works, to ensure that FCHO are accounting for VAT in line with legislative and accounting for VAT in the most efficient and effective manner
• Producing all regulatory returns, in accordance with financial policies, procedures and requirements of external bodies and the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH)
• Providing and managing an effective Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable service, ensuring the integrity and security of the financial systems and there are adequate controls are in place aligned to FCHO's financial regulations

The person;

• CCAB, CIMA or ACT qualified
• Experience of financial planning (30 years Business Plans), including undertaking financial appraisals which include an assessment of financial risks. Use of Brixx Software
• Experience of treasury management and cashflows, including production of 12 month rolling cashflows
• Experience of VAT and Tax compliance including understanding of VAT and Taxation, including VAT Shelter
• Act as a leader and be a positive ambassador for FCHO, creating a professional image and raising the FCHO profile at every opportunity
