My Gloucestershire based client are looking to recruit an ambitious Project Manager to work for their exciting Company based in Tewkesbury.

The ideal candidate will have excellent, management, proactive leadership, organisational skills, and discipline, with the ability to work to very tight deadlines and strong prioritisation skills.

Working within the Sales & Operations teams you will be responsible for managing all the functions of the event project cycle. You should have proven project management and/or technical management skills preferably from a live event technology background.

The role will be office based at our Tewkesbury HQ (Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 with the flexibility to extend), often weekend work is required. Candidates must be somewhat flexible to travel overnight to site and work outside of normal hours as required.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Onsite management, ownership & leadership of projects throughout the delivery cycle• Scheduling of tasks and job allocation.• Planning & management of resources–Crew, Transport, Flights, Accommodation, Event Logistics & Equipment• Accountable for quality and operational efficiency.• Controlling and reporting on individual cost centre budgets & GPM margins.• Post show reporting of operational efficiency and improvements• Prepare Risk & Method statements. Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and any additional procedures required by the Company and its clients.• Reporting of H&S incidents & improvements.• Advise, help prepare quotes and pitches with sales and account management teams.• Assist operational & strategic planning with the operations team.• Liaise directly with customers throughout the job cycle.• Strategical budget planning– Monthly and Yearly• Bond and retain appropriate relationships to promote correct methodologies, implementation of procedures, and executing them with our staff and our sub–contractors.• Work in a sustainable manner and approach.• Willing to assist and work within other departments if required, flexibility and teamwork is key.
