Job Description
In this role, the Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for ensuring everything is running on track, supporting each team to achieve their goals but also execute the overall strategy and act as a project leader for monthly planning cycles ensuring the team deliver on service level and cost targets.
Organisation is key to success in this role. From people management to developing new processes and delivering robust internal reporting – the Head of Supply Chain will play a critical leadership role, getting the best out of the team and
ensuring the smooth running of organisations supply chain function.
Manage, motivate and coach the supply chain team.
Manage key relationships with 3rd Party Warehousing and Logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers.
Improve and streamline planning processes.
Mitigate delays and issues with suppliers.
Execute the strategy ensuring ambitious growth plans are executed to allow the business to grow across the UK and Europe.
Given the fast–paced nature of the business, it is essential you are someone who is not afraid of rolling up
your sleeves and leading from the front when required. At times you will need to think on your feet, forming
plans in an ever–changing environment!
The Successful Applicant
Previous experience working in a senior Supply Chain position within an FMCG business working with a high number of SKUs.
Strong management experience gained from a fast paced environment.
Experience of working with 3PL and an understanding of S&OP, Demand Planning and Production Planning processes.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple plans with many moving forwards.
Self motivated with a proactive approach to leadership and improvement.
Flexible and adaptable.
Excellent planning, communication and presentation skills.

GBP60–80K depending on experience
