This Finance Director opportunity is with a market leading and highly successful Ship Broking business. They are seeking a dynamic Finance Director to further develop their financial capabilities, in line with the company’s recently developed strategic and progressive growth plans.
This pivotal Finance Director role will work closely with the MD and senior management team to define strategic vision and direction and manage income and value drivers, advising on the best path of growth for the business.
Your input as a member of the senior management team will be to drive transparency, establish stringent cash management, internal controls, forecasting, and analysis to facilitate decision making.
You will demonstrate commercial acumen and drive change, developing a progressive Finance and Accounting strategy.
Heading up the finance team, your accounting and management skills and experience of producing actionable information from a variety of sources will be crucial.

You will:
- Hold a recognised CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent
- Have worked in a senior financial role for at least 3 to 5 years, requiring hands-on involvement
- Have worked with SMEs in the senior management team or an autonomous division of a larger company
- Experience of broking / trading environment
- Experience of working with businesses in B2B
- International growth across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
