Managing Director required for a manufacturing company in Bedford, MK42
- 80,000 – 85,000 per annum
- Monday – Thursday 08.15 – 16.45, Fridays 08.15 – 13.45
- Based at Woburn Road Industrial Estate
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

- Responsible for the sites overall operational functions of: Administration, Service, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, Finance and HSQE
- Ensuring an excellent standard of customer service
- Responsible for the quality of goods produced in line with Quality Management.
- Ensure inventory is stored appropriately and accurately; and manage both depreciated and obsolete stock
- Be responsible for the removal of waste ensuring this is documented and legal.
- Complete yearly appraisals, deal with discipline and employee wellbeing in line with company procedures
- Developing and implementing growth strategies
- Mentor and coach managers to excel within their roles
- Creating and managing budgets
- Monthly forecast for Input / Output / Gross Margin / On time Delivery
- Ensuring Health & Safety and Training records are recorded and current
- Engineering operational & production experience
- A higher degree in a Electromechanical Engineering discipline
- Proven people management skills
- Commercially astute with recognized knowledge around T&C's.
- Experience of delivering a high level of customer service in an engineering / service provider company
- P&L experience
- Lean principles and 5S training
