Interim Engagement and Wellbeing Business Partner
Location: Vastly remote, with ad–hoc travel within Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire
Duration: Six months
Hours: 21 hours per week (Three days)
Venn Group is proud to be working with a well–respected healthcare organisation that is looking to bring on an interim Engagement and Wellbeing Business Partner for a six–month contract, to provide advice guidance and support during a period of change.
Main Duties:
- Implementing Managers Health and Wellbeing Toolkit and Wellbeing platform to apply a lens of health and wellbeing to every corner of the organisation, cultivating human–cantered leaders who are equipped with new skills like coaching, listening, empathy and who are prepared to show their own humanity
- Empowering colleagues through various mediums and workshops, whether working Out of Hours, in the contact centres or homeworking to proactively care for their health by signposting to relevant tools, webinars and aid to navigate their way to the organisations online resources
- Continuously monitoring and analysing the 'happiness' levels, with proposals and recommendations to accurately predict and manage employee engagement and retention using HR analytics to review turnover, sickness data and exit interviews
- Facilitating workshops, breakfast/lunches, focus groups and webinars, teaching colleagues how to cope with tough challenges, deal with stress and build resilience, but above all how to spark real enthusiasm and achieve a high level of vitality, productivity and happiness
- Broadening the organisations wellbeing framework to include financial, social, and career health
- Alleviating internal and external stressors through training managers to have personal conversations with their teams
- Creating opportunities for the organisation to contribute to local or regional sustainability initiatives by tuning in with what initiatives mean the most to colleagues
- Support the development of new proposals and procurement of equipment and resources in relation to health and wellbeing initiatives, for example increasing the number of mental health first aiders or providing an on–site counselling service in the Contact Centres
- Provide regular support/check in meetings with the Mental Health First Aiders and Debriefing Teams
- Conducting Annual Staff Survey as well as well as regular traffic light pulse survey's and focus groups to test the health and wellbeing temperature at the organisation responding and taking action on receipt of feedback
- Planning and organisation effective internal communication campaigns alighted with business group and site needs in order to support business strategy and involvement of employees
- Elaborate and deployment of site internal communication plan, working within Internal Comms guidelines to create local communications campaigns, events and activities
- Supporting the Commercial Team in growing the business with inputting into the bid process as required
Essential Skills:
- Experienced HR Professional with special interest in health and wellbeing
- Experience of working within busy HR function in leadership capacity
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, persuade and influence at all levels both internally and externally
- Proven ability to successful work with a high level of initiative and confident decision–making
- Demonstrable creative problem–solving skills
- Good coaching skills and an approach that builds on capacity rather than dependency relating to line management responsibility
- Ability to produce and analyse management information and produce reports (e.g. turnover and sickness) and deep dives to evidence findings
- Experience of working with HRIS and translating to meaningful reports
- Strong track record of working collaboratively in cross functional teams
- Good all–round IT skills including word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
