Senior Business Analyst
Permanent - GBP60k to GBP70k
Hybrid - Remote/Client Site
My client, a leading E-commerce digital experience consultancy, are recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to join on a permanent basis, with hybrid working in place.
Responsibilities
- Business requirements investigation and definition for projects, and translating these into functional designs and detailed strategic roadmaps.
- Review and editing of requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
- Analysing clients business operating models and help identify areas of improvement
- Analyse and document business processes linking back to the business operating model
- Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications.
- Business event/scenario modelling
- Business case production including business, technical and financial feasibility assessments.
- Providing the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development life cycle.
- Supporting project management activities in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.
Experience
- Up to 5 years' experience with considerable background in process analysis and design roles.
- Experience of leading meetings and workshops and making presentations.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness, preferably some exposure to process improvement techniques (eg Lean, Six Sigma or benchmarking).
- Experience of full software life cycle in Waterfall and Agile contexts
- Analysis & design experience
- Will have experience of analysis and design in a technical environment
- Able to interpret customer requirements and convert to logical designs
- Ability to create business use cases and business use case realisations
- Experience with and/or demonstrable knowledge of Modelling Standards (eg UML, BPMN)
- Desirable experience or knowledge or one or more process framework (eg SCOR, eTOM, VCOR)
