iO Associates is working with a well–recognised Defence client in Bristol, in the recruitment of a contract Systems Engineer.

The contract will involve working on a CAT A project bid for a military networking programme. As the Systems consultant, you be will responsible for developing architectures, managing requirements, and developing V&V activities.

Skillset required:

• Experience of creating MBSE architectures
• Requirements decomposition
• DOORS
• Understanding of military networking technology
• Full systems engineering lifecycle, but extra focus on Integration, V&V and Test

Due to the extent of ongoing programmes within the business, particularly in command–and–control systems, there is a high chance of contract extension offered for the right individual.

There is a requirement to be on–site once a week in their Bristol office, but the rest can be done remotely.

Additionally, please note, this is a UK eyes only project, and will require SC clearance to undertake the contract.
