Location: This role is offered on a permanent basis and will be a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and working at one of our sites 1–2 days per week.

We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic Finance community, partnering the Inventory function.

The team are intent on having fun and unwavering in their support for each other to achieve their personal ambitions. The team is focussed on driving value through strong integrated relationships, whilst remaining objective and challenging in their role as critical friends. You will play an integral part in both the Finance function and the Inventory Leadership team.

You will be the voice of Finance for the Inventory function!

What you will do

Business Partner the Inventory function
Drive performance management within the Inventory teams specialising in Inventory levels / turns, obsolescence and end of life management, new product investments and Inventory provisions
Co–ordinate the EMEA Inventory and provisions budget/forecast process
Support the EMEA Inventory team in the provision of financial insight into Inventory and Inventory provisions and associated costs
Analyse performance data to identify and address route causes and find effective solutions
Provide pro–active analysis of key business metrics to highlight issues e.g. return on stock, stock turn
Maintain a commercial mind set when identifying actions or making decisions. Understand the implications of, and be accountable for, those decisions

A bit about you

Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent)
Experience working with Inventory teams and a strong understanding of Inventory at both a strategic and operational level.
Ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders
Demonstrates clear examples of effective working relationships and the understanding of how that relationship can help drive the business forward.
Demonstrates effective communication to wider team of key financial variables.
Personable, enthusiastic, team oriented.
Good communicator who can build strong relationships in a matrix structure.
