Supply Chain Business Partner
Alfreton
The Supply Chain Business Partner acts as a true partner for the Sales Leader and country team(s) in their geographical area, providing support and guidance in matters that concern the full scope of Supply Chain. This role co–ordinates and drives structural improvements and projects that may include multiple departments but have Supply Chain as the common denominator. In addition, this role provides the single point of contact for the country organisation(s) where escalations are necessary to resolve matters with the EPC Supply Chain team.
Main Responsibilities
Primarily responsible to measure and monitor service in the country, proactively informing country teams on OTIF and other performance metrics, reasons behind service failures and driving actions to continuously improve.
Act as the point of escalation for Supply Chain related matters in cases where processes fail, but not acting as day–to–day operational contact
Represent the Supply Chain in local S&OP meetings, providing advice and guidance on business opportunities, liaising with central Supply Chain teams as appropriate. Support new customer tenders and rollouts and design processes for this if not yet in place.
Provide Supply Chain transparency and build awareness of how business decisions positively or negatively impact Supply Chain performance
Co–ordinate, provide information and other support in case of structural supply or logistics issues.
Provide visibility on cost impact of business decisions, from ideation to business case submission and implementation, but also challenge the business on the impacts if needed
Coordinate and implement in the country / cluster Supply Chain projects such as nominated days, MOV/MOQ.
Attend EU Supply Chain team meetings as appropriate to build understanding of Supply Chain targets, challenges and opportunities.
Create personal network of supply chain colleagues relevant to the particular dynamics of the countries in geographical scope.
Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor or Master degree and has a minimum of 5–8 years of experience in various Supply Chain roles, with a strong preference of experience in Planning and Logistics. The candidate has good business acumen and is able to communicate with senior levels within Diversey (e.g. Country / Cluster Management Team), but also has a hands–on mentality and therefore capable and willing to dive into the details of SAP, other systems or processes.
Considering the nature of the role, the candidate is customer driven, action oriented and has an inclusive (collaborative) work style. The candidate ideally already has a good network in Diversey to support a successful fulfilment of the role, but building and maintaining a network is something that comes naturally to the ideal candidate.
