Financial Accounting Lead

Salary: c£60,000

Location: Grimsby

Ideally to suit an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant, this exceptional opportunity requires strong technical skills and will ideally suit a candidate trained in professional practice followed by industry experience.

THE ROLE:
Statutory accounts preparation, maintenance of statutory records, tax return and computation preparation and completing month end close processes
Accounting policy compliance for UK and International GAAP, internal controls compliance and maintaining a relationship with external parties such as the auditors, HMRC, Companies House and various tax advisors
Accountable for all financial accounting activities including policies and procedures, Chart of Accounts, interim and annual financial statements, monthly/quarterly Group reporting to corporate controllership and completion of statutory packs as required by corporate, financial close process

Facilitation of internal and external audit functions, SOX & internal controls over financial reporting, tax packs, reports to local audit committee, compliance with the Companies Act, IFRS and other local statutory reporting requirements as the case may be

THE CANDIDATE:
ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally you will have trained in professional practice and have the benefit of having made the transition into industry, preferably within a big company environment

You have a team playing mentality and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve the desired end result. An effective communicator at all levels and with excellent interpersonal skills you are keen to take on the next challenge in your career on the south Humber bank with a prestigious, international manufacturing company

Previous experience of using ERP systems is highly desirable and previous experience in a business partnering role very useful
