An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Civil Litigation Lawyer looking for a locum position to join a well-respected London local authority.

Our client is looking for a Civil Litigation Lawyer ideally with strong experience working in a local authority setting to join their friendly and supportive team on a locum basis. This is a 3-month initial contract with likelihood of extension. On offer is a flexible working arrangement, you will have the choice to work fully remote or attend the office when desired.

Experience within a local authority setting is ideal, however our client is interested in hearing from Civil Litigation Lawyers with a private practice background as well. A strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of general housing law is essential as you will be handling your own caseload of matters including:
  • Disrepair
  • Possessions
  • Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Property litigation
  • Debt Recovery
  • Judicial Review

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established London Borough Council and a great chance to further develop your expertise within an experienced and welcoming team. On offer is a flexible working arrangement, a great work/life balance, competitive pay between £30-£50 per hour based on experience, and an interesting workload.

With this being a locum position, our client is seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer who can start immediately or on short notice so if you believe you have the necessary skills, please apply today to avoid missing out!
