Salary of 60,000 – 65,000

Astute are proudly partnered with a leading company that are a combination of 3 business units: Engineering, Manufacturing and Support, all involved in metal working and design. Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager for their works on the Nuclear Power Station.

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Develop and take responsibility for the project management processes of our client in line with their management system and best practice in the UK.
• Directly manage or participate in specific projects and bids in all aspects related to project management, project control, contract management, site management, site work delivery planning, HSE/CDM advisory.
• Develop, lead and oversee site teams in accordance to project's needs;
• Manage the client relationship and all stakeholders including third parties/vendors.
• Manages project delivery through a team of project professionals (Project engineers, Project manager, Project Control functions) in line with time and budgetary restrictions.
• Manage and develop a team of project managers

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Prince 2 or AMP (or equivalent) Qualified
• Member of appropriate professional body (APM, PMI, CIOB, etc.)
• CSCS managers and Professionals Test
• SMSTS (desirable)
• HND in Engineering or equivalent
