Associate Director Job in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

I have an Associate Director job available with a rapidly growing multi–disciplinary consultancy in their office in Cambridge. As the successful Associate Director you'll be tasked with taking the lead on major infrastructure projects within the team.

This multi–disciplinary consultancy operates across the UK with 6 regional offices which are situated in the North, East Anglia, London and Essex. Current head count is at 60 but with the growth plans in place and their current workload they are looking to expand the business 80 in the next 12 months. The services this consultancy offer span across Town Planning, Architecture, Masterplanning, Landscape Architecture and Heritage.

Role & Responsibilities

– Take the lead of Major Infrastructure projects
– Technically advise on environmental and consenting aspects of complex major projects with particular focus on NSIP
– Prepare and manager project budgets
– Provide advice on infrastructure planning
– Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
– Negotiate, draft, and provide legal instructions to facilitate the preparation of planning agreements and infrastructure funding deeds with industry, agencies, and Councils, as required
– Meet company expectations regarding fee earning targets
– Optimise new business and cross–selling opportunities
– Mentor and support other members of the team.

Required Skills & Experience

– Chartered RTPI Membership
– Relevant planning degree
– Strong background and experience working on major infrastructure projects
– Experience taking the lead on projects
– Previous experience mentoring staff.
