Business Development Manager (High Voltage)


Remote working (can be based anywhere in the UK)


70'000 – 80'000 + Bonus + Progression Opportunities + 25 days holiday + Pension


Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in high voltage systems or substations?


Do you want to join a rapidly expanding, global business in an autonomous role where you will contribute to prestigious renewable projects and significantly drive the UK growth of the business?


This international organisation manufacture and supply power and renewable energy products and solutions for sustainable developments across the globe. They have recently seen great success in the UK market and wish to accelerate that moving forward by expanding the sales and business development team.


In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the large scale renewable development market, mainly Solar PV, for the sale of transformers, AIS and GIS products. This is a remote working role with the need to travel to customers UK wide on occasion.


The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sales within the HV / substation sector, or ideally solar PV and strong knowledge of transformer products. Candidates must have good existing relationships or excellent experience selling to EPC, Renewable Developers or Utilities customers.

The Role:
Identify and develop new opportunities within the large–scale renewable developments market, mainly solar PV
Transformers, GIS and AIS products
Targeting EPC, Renewable Developers and Utilities customers
Remote working with client visits across the UK


The Person:
Experience selling within the HV / substation industry, or ideally Solar PV
Excellent knowledge of transformer products
Good existing relationships or excellent experience selling to EPC or Utilities customers.
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
Excellent Excel skills, and ideally SAP
