European Commercial Analyst - nr Reading / hybrid working model
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will be a commercially minded qualified accountant with excellent analytical skills. This highly visible role will work throughout the business to understand business trends and activities. You will be responsible for providing crucial support to the business around FP&A and business partnering activities.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will be a commercially minded qualified accountant with excellent analytical skills. This highly visible role will work throughout the business to understand business trends and activities. You will be responsible for providing crucial support to the business around FP&A and business partnering activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide support to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager
- Support the team in delivering annual budget, reforecasts and monthly flash reporting
- Responsible for managing the budget and forecast data
- Be proactive with the improvement of internal processes around monthly financial reporting
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships with key budget holders
- Responsible for managing budget and forecast data upload processes, with strong understanding of data flows
- Monthly management accounts and provide first-pass commentary on trends & performance vs. budget/forecast.
Requirements:
- Qualified Finance Professional (CIMA, CA, ACA, etc.)
- Passionate for both FP&A and Business Partnering
- Comfortable leading projects and developing new systems and processes
- Confident and pro-active communicator
- Fast learner, with positive attitude and continuous improvement mind-set
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Methodical & logical approach with good planning & organisation skills
- Calm under pressure; able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced & changing environment
- Comfortable manipulating and managing datasets, with strong data interrogation techniques Intermediate/advanced Excel skills to Power BI or other recognised BI tool (Tableau etc) experience
Background:
- Qualified CIMA / CA / ACCA / ACA
- Experience of working in a Commercial Finance team is desirable
- Relationship Building & Communication

- Power Bi or Tableau experience preferred
