Interim Head of Finance Business Partnering

Are you a strong leader of finance teams in a Business Partnering or Financial Planning remit? Are you a Social Housing finance expert? Are you available at short notice to bring your expertise into a successful Housing Association? Can you provide high quality reporting and analysis?

My client is a Social Housing provider with a changing landscape over the coming months. A critical role as the Head of Finance Business Partnering is in need of interim recruitment for a period of three–to–six months. The role will have the following key duties:

• Stabilise the Business Partnering output during a period of change
• Focus on the creation of key reports for senior leaderships covering a diverse range of regulatory and internal requirements
• Lead on financial planning and analysis for the organisation as well as leading on its budgeting and forecasting output
• Develop a team of Finance Business Partners and Management Accountants
• Lead on the creation of the 30–year Business Plan
• Partner with Development teams to ensure investment opportunities are soundly appraised, and strong business decisions are made with expert financial input.

This will be an excellent role for an experienced team leader with a strong Business Partnering and Financial Planning & Analysis background. The role is based in London with a hybrid working pattern in place, and there could be permanent opportunities down the line for the right person.

To be considered, please meet these criteria:

• Have strong experience in a leadership role in Business Partnering or Financial Planning within the Housing sector, along with a full accountancy qualification
• Have excellent Excel and report–writing skills along with an expert–level Business Partnering skillset
• Have prior experience leading business planning processes using bespoke software.
