Head of Analytics

LHH Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for a Head of Analytics to join a leading business in Shrewsbury.

This is a permanent, full–time position with the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis.

You will lead analytics and data governance activities so that decision–making is data drive across some of the key projects.

Key Duties:

– Implement Power BI dashboards to provide management insight into purchase to customer margin cycle

– Work with business stakeholders to define and then execute the data management and governance model, including data ownership and data quality standards, with the use of appropriate tool sets

– Work with MD & FD to create a culture of utilisation by management of BI for agile and profit enhancing decision making

– Work with local leaders to improve price management and enhance margins

– Oversight of data analysis and undertaking root cause analysis to drive transformation activities

– Work to align BI across the Battery business units and ensure consistency

– Support forecasting and budgeting processes with commercial data

– Management of 1 member of staff

To be successful with this application you must have the following experience:

– Extensive experience working with PowerBi – be able to demonstrate where you have designed/created dashboards and then implemented it across a business unit

– Statistical; analysis – high volume data

– Pricing experience within retail would be advantageous

– Worked within a multi–national business would also be a benefit

– SQL would be advantageous
