CFO - Brokerage/Platform Business

Salary GBP150,000 to GBP180,000 + Bonus + Equity

Location: Bristol/Hybrid

Finatal are looking for a commercially minded CFO to permanently join a high growth, highly profitable brokerage / platform business based in Bristol.

The business brought in investment from a well–known, mid–market Private Equity house 12 months ago to aggressively grow the business organically and through M&A. The acquisitions will differentiate the businesses current offering, enabling them to step into new markets / revenue streams.

The business is currently delivering revenue of GBP10m and EBITDA GBP6.3m with an exit forecasted for 2025–26 and EBITDA of GBP15m.

There is an immediate requirement for the CFO to professionalise the finance function. Improve the level of reporting, controllership and data to deliver robust MI for the senior leadership team and Investors to inform & enable strategic decision making.

The business has strong elements of recurring revenue that they are looking to maximise under the current ownership leading toward sale to maximise value.

This role would suit a CFO who is currently, or has operated, in private equity backed business ideally having led on an exit to either secondary exit or trade.

The business has a strong Finance Director who will manage the day–to–day, enabling the CFO to be a key driver when creating shareholder value. This role reports into the dynamic, industry leading CEO who set up the business.
