Director (Transport Planning)

Carrington West are excited to offer this fantastic vacancy for a Director focusing on transport planning with a consultancy in London.

The successful candidate will work on and be involved in managing a number of exciting, complex transport planning projects with the support of the transport team. You will have autonomy with full support from the wider Transport Team to build the business, which supports developers, housebuilders, Town Planners and infrastructure providers.

You will deliver market leading consultancy advice, necessitating a sound understanding of client requirements on projects and recognition of competing stakeholders' interests with effective resource management.

You will be responsible for generating some new business from your client base as well as utilising internal clients for work. You will be recruiting and developing your own team and providing clients with expert transport planning advice to secure the success of their land use development projects.

What you will need:

With experience within this sector, you'll already be familiar with what we're looking for. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced transport planner, with excellent client contacts, first class communication, leadership and management skills, and the financial acumen to ensure that the P&L targets are met.
