We are currently looking for a Sub– Project Manager to work for a leading national contractor, working with multiple sub–contractors on a decommissioning project.
Based in Sellafield.
Your duties will include, although not be limited to:
- Support the Project Manager in development & monitoring of progress
- Attendance at stakeholder meetings, supporting forward planning in readiness for project delivery
- Attend walkdowns and working closely with the sub–contractors ensure enabling documentation is in place for projects to progress into the construction phase
- Lead progress meetings with Sub–Contractors to monitor and discuss progress
- Attend Client progress meetings
- Awareness of CDM regs within the nuclear industry and implement on all construction tasks
- Close liaison with the site delivery team
- Identify and manage specifically those areas that represent significant risk to the Project
- Work in a highly regulated environment
- Other duties necessary to facilitate successful Project delivery
About You:
- Degree qualified or equivalent (NVQ/QBE)
- SC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance
- APMQ or Project Delivery Experience
- Knowledge of Nuclear Project management and NEC3 contract preferred
- Proven team working and people management skills
- Client and customer focused and able to demonstrate evidence of successful collaboration
- High levels of self–motivation and drive
