Our mission at Response is to enable people of all ages to live a more fulfilled life by providing excellent mental health services, housing, and supported living.Do you have the desire to help change lives and an interest in mental health?Head of Financial Accounts – GBP47,400 – GBP55,800 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)Hours – 37 hours per week, Monday to FridayDepartment – FinanceLocaWhat You'll Be Doing:Overall job responsibility – Responsible for all day to day financial management activities and information systems and all statutory reporting Some of the core duties include: Manage, lead and develop the financial accounting team Ensure appropriate financial governance and control is in place and working effectively across Response to ensure the integrity of the organisation's financial performance and statements Take full responsibility for statutory financial reporting and all other such reporting Working closely with other colleagues, support the budgeting and forecasting processes Manage insurance arrangements across Response, acting as the lead contact for all related matters Manage all banking, treasury and cashflow activities, acting as the lead contact for all related matters Present financial information to a range of audiences including Directors and Trustees Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer on the design, operation and performance of the IT infrastructure and systems used by Response, advising on the future use of IT in all its forms including new software applications Ensure the financial accounting team delivers on all deliverables on time and to an appropriate quality level, by prioritising the workload across the financial accounting team and in full compliance with all laws and regulations Set and implement a strategy for the financial accounting team to deliver improvements and better financial management across the organisation, creating a high–performance culture Ensure future team capability needs are identified, and plans put in place to address any gaps Deputise for the Chief Financial Officer as required.The Successful Applicant:Our main priority for all our roles at Response is to find people that can live our values every day – Caring, Safe, Creative and Aspirational.
