4c Executive is working in partnership with a leading IT Managed Services and software provider company to appoint a new Sales Director. Having pioneered the use of Microsoft solutions from early days the company has been awarded with multiple accreditations and certifications throughout its history. About to embark upon a new trajectory with a bold growth strategy in place, our client is seeking to appoint a new Sales Director who will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from the development of a new sales strategy and a sales plan through to negotiating and closing contracts.

This is an exciting new role for someone who is ready to be the leader of the sales function. Working with full autonomy, the new Sales Director will have the opportunity to "put their stamp" on the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will also be responsible for mapping the market landscape across Ireland and the UK, identifying growth opportunities as well as potential threats. The appointed candidate will be the face of the company for new clients and prospects, representing the company in trade shows, networking events, and visiting potential new clients.

The role holder will own and drive the company's tender submission process, identifying possible pain points and putting in place a new, well–designed approach to tender submission which will ultimately deliver a high win rate.

The successful candidate will be a self–motivated, results driven person with experience within the IT managed services or IT services industry with a track record of delivering high value B2B sales. They will be a credible sales leader with excellent people skills, being able to build strong, long–lasting professional relationships.

The Sales Director will have:

  • Significant management experience within the IT managed services industry.
  • Track record of creating a sales plan and personally meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self–driven, being responsible for leading the full sales cycle.
  • Strong experience dealing with tender submission processes in Ireland and/or the UK.
  • Experience of creating excellent marketing collateral.
