Interim Engineering Manager – FMCG – Day Rate + ExpensesAbout the CompanyWe have a fantastic opportunity for an Interim Engineering Manager to join a high volume food manufacturing company. Our client is a well established employer with a multi million investment plant. The Engineering Manager will report to the Site General Manager and will lead a team of Engineers. The main function of the role will be to support the Maintenance Manager during this a significant growth phase.There are 4 roles available across 4 of their manufacturing sites in Newcastle, Manchester, Northampton and Kent.Interim Engineering Manager – The Rewards

• Day Rate + Expenses (GBP400 – GBP600)
• 12 Month Contract
• Outside IR35

Interim Engineering Manager – Responsibilities

• To provide leadership to the site engineering team
• To manage and direct the day to day operations of the Maintenance team, including determining needed repairs and improvements, establishing project priorities and assigning work tasks
• To manage and advise on third party site contracts
• To improve the production facilities and reduce the number of costly breakdown incidents
• Deliver a program of planned preventative maintenance To ensure that the departmental KPIs are implemented and achieved
• To work with and through the Engineering buyers/Group Procurement team to ensure timely maintenance of the inventory of spares and repair parts, materials and tools
• Hold weekly/fortnightly maintenance/continuous improvement meetings with documented action points.
