Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Location: Northwest but 100% working from home

Sellick Partnership has been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit a permanent Finance Manager position for an award winning and growing practice firm based in the Northwest.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a qualified accountant to manage a sizable portfolio of clients.

The role is focussed upon delivering to an increasing number of clients regular and reliable management information, based on accurate and reconciled core accounting transactions.

Tasks will involve:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and other management information for clients, including maintenance of fully reconciled accounting schedules packs.
• Providing outsourced Finance Director / Financial Controller services to clients and presenting at board and partnership level meetings
• Preparation of weekly/monthly/annual cashflow forecasts.
• Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Supervision of purchase ledger processing work.
• Management of credit control procedures.
• Review of accounts, budgets, cashflows and VAT returns prepared by other team members.
• Internal review of client financial data and ensuring that it is supported by reports and reconciled on a regular basis.
• Assisting with the development of accounting knowledge across the office.
• Identifying improved working processes and procedures both within the organisation and within client organisations.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA or CIMA or ICAEW / ICAS) with experience working within an accounting practice and ideally legal industry firms exposure.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining long lasting client relationships, they will be value driven, committed, confident, decisive, disciplined, personable, reliable, efficient and professional. A "doer" as well as a thinker and with a high standard of communication skills.
