Head of Estates and Facilities

Estates & Facilities manager required to work for a rapidly expanding family owned logistics business based North of Nottingham.

Client Details

A family owned logistics business based north of Nottingham are looking to appoint a Head of Estates & Facilities to join their property team. You oversee their current property portfolio, management of service provider contracts and assisting with their plans for growth & expansion through acquisition of new properties, lease renewals, liaising with landlords / key stakeholders etc.

Description

To deliver the Property & Assets Strategy providing complete management of the organisation's assets and assisting in the acquisition of new through purchase, lease or any other means as required.

This role reports directly into the COO with responsibility for the group's Facilities Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the property portfolio is fully compliant, that each property is utilising it's space in the most effective way, implement a maintenance schedule across the organisation, management of external contractors, oversee refits / refurbishments, property acquisitions / lease renewals, management of finances / budgets.

Profile

• Previous experience in a Facilities / Property Asset Management position
• Good financial management experience and budgetary control.
• A strong project manager with significant ability to manage risk, performance and control delivery to achieve objectives.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of strategic asset management and supporting technology and associated property improvement, including technical aspects, relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of procurement processes and statutory compliance and legislation
• Project management skills & knowledge of preparing and controlling large scale property refurbishment programmes.
• Member of a relevant professional body RICS, CIOB, IMBM, CIOH
• Excellent communication skills: influential, articulate and persuasive.
