Interim HR Manager

Location: Milton KeynesJob Type: Full time, Fixed Term ContractThe Whittan Group is the largest manufacturer of steel storage products in the United Kingdom. Operating through a number of market leading brands; we design, manufacture and install storage solutions for commercial and industrial environments in the UK and Europe. We are looking for a pro–active HR Manager/HR Business Partner to join our busy and growing organisation for a fixed term basis of up to 12 months beginning January 2023. We are happy to consider applicants who can only work part time. The successful candidate will be based at our Milton Keynes site and be responsible for providing HR support and guidance whilst also managing a small HR Shared Services Centre team.Key responsibilities will include: • Operate and provide guidance around core people processes such as recruitment, absence management, disciplinary & grievance etc. working closely with the wider HR team. • Business partnering with managers • Working across business disciplines to lead and influence change at an operational level• Develop the HR team to increase confidence and competence • Ensure key cyclical activities are championed and delivered in line with Group strategy• Draft new/revised policy documents as requestedThe right person for this role will be an experienced HR professional from a fast–paced manufacturing or operationally focused environment.
