Change Director
6 Month FTC

This role is responsible for delivering large scale and strategic change across the Speciality Group including ownership of the portfolio of change programmes and projects and the delivery of the organisation's Transformation Programme.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering all strategic projects and programmes and has direct line responsibility for the Change Delivery and Transformation Team. This team has Business Analysis, Project/Programme Management, Process Expertise and PMO
- Defining and maintaining an optimised portfolio of change initiatives and a single Change Delivery Roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and Target Operating Model, maximises benefits, and is achievable
- Establishing a centre of excellence for change delivery that produces a step–change in the performance of projects and programmes to achieve their target outcomes; this includes educating and supporting the wider business to improve overall change maturity
- Defining and maintaining an optimised portfolio of change initiatives and a single Group Change Delivery Roadmap that aligns with the business' strategic objectives and Target Operating Model, maximises benefits, and is achievable.
- Leading the Change Delivery Team; ensuring a clear purpose, direction, objectives, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Ensuring an effective Change Delivery Framework with appropriate governance gates and controls that guides how projects/programmes are initiated and delivered.
- Managing the Group Change Delivery budget; partnering with Finance to ensure the change portfolio stays within their defined financial tolerances and that benefits are clearly articulated and can be tracked against defined and measurable KPIs.
- Ensuring the impacts of changes on business functions are considered and understood, through strong business ownership of changes.
- Ensuring effective controls to maintain the integrity of the change delivery portfolio design and delivery momentum; in particular, effective change control and impact assessment of change, but also risk, issue, and dependency management.
Skills Required
- A proven track record of directing the delivery of a significant change portfolio, with experience of both business and technical change.
- Evidence of building organisational change capability and maturity, having developed, coached, and mentored executives and change delivery team.
- Experience operating at Executive Board level in complex matrix environments, managing teams and owning budgets
