KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Operations Director – Education and TrainingLocation: Remote Salary: up to GBP80,000Type: Full Time / PermanentDuties include (not limited to):

  • To work as an instrumental part of the Senior Management team; providing key knowledge, insight and leadership across the company.
  • Lead and direct the team through periods of growth, while delivering an outstanding learner journey and employer experience.
  • Overseeing / monitoring all training operations for our client's Employability and Apprenticeship departments.
  • Lead and manage the departments, securing and sustaining improvements in all aspects of delivery of curriculum and quality.
  • Manage, motivate and support all members within the education provision to ensure the quality, timely and effective delivery of educational programmes in–line with contractual targets and objectives – ensuring an outstanding learner and client experience.
  • Support with SAR and QIP creation.
  • Work in partnership with Senior Manager's and Director's to ensure that operational best practice is promoted and developed through all teaching, learning and assessment aspects.
  • Overseeing the Compliance and MIS functions; ensuring all data is accurate.
  • Responsible for the allocation of resources, to ensure that the budget process supports and influences provision.
  • Development of organisational strategic and business plans in partnership with the Executive team.

Essential Criteria for all candidates:

  • Proven experience of working in a similar like for like role within the education and skills sector is essential.
  • Must hold a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing an operational function.
  • Must be knowledgeable on ESFA and ESF funding rules.
  • A strong understanding of the EIF.
  • Experience in leading ESFA/Ofsted related audits and inspections.
  • Experience of managing and delivering financial budgets.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
