Chief Financial Officer

SF Executive have been retained by one of the UK's fastest growing leisure groups to find them a commercially minded and consumer savvy Chief Financial Officer. Situated in South Yorkshire, this business has performed excellently post pandemic and is very well positioned to grow its unique offering over the coming years. The organisation in question is backed by a highly successful mid–market private equity house and expects significant growth in the next few years through a combination of organic growth and relevant strategic acquisitions. As CFO and right hand to the CEO, you will lead all financial, management and statutory reporting and also lead in the provision of best in class financial data. Ideally you will have already worked as CFO within a standalone retail / leisure / consumer facing business. This business may have been privately owned, private equity backed, or listed – either way you will have managed all external stakeholder and banking relationships, instilling confidence into the providers of these funding mechanisms. Precedence will be given to candidates who have led some form of exit process – trade to PE – PE to trade – trade to trade – IPO. All would count in this regard. Outside of the debt and funding piece, you will stand shoulder to shoulder with the CEO of the organisation to shape and drive strategy such that the business and its underlying infrastructure grows in a consistent and controlled way.
