Job Description

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in South East London for an Interim Head of Finance. The postholder will have responsibility for managing up to 10 FTE and the staffing budgets of up to 500k and will provide financial management advice to service managers with budget responsibility of up to 200m. The postholder will proactively lead the financial advice and support within Business Partnering with reference to delivering savings and maximising service outcomes to residents.

Ideal Candidate

• CCAB qualified accountant with CIPFA preferred
• Experience in a Local Authority Finance environment in a similar role
• Experienced in business partnering and providing financial advice to senior management
• Great interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
