Head of eCommerce

Zachary Daniels Recruitment are incredibly excited to be partnered with a rapidly expanding online retailer, who have been experiencing consistent growth for a number of years. As they continue on their expansion journey internationally, the position of Head of eCommerce has been created.

The position of Head of eCommerce is simply designed to take the reigns of the ecommerce platform, with a focus on trading and UX. Managing a small team, you will be operational in the role whilst creating and implementing the strategic agenda.

Main responsibilities in the position of Head of eCommerce include:

• Coach, lead and inspire the eCommerce team to deliver company and department objectives
• Commercial performance. Deliver an ecommerce trading plan through an immersive online experience that supports the business credentials
• A relentless focus on day to day trading performance combined with a customer obsessed mindset
• Drive online transactional platforms & socials to increase customer acquisition and retention
• Regularly measure and report on KPI's, including website traffic, audience engagement, bounce rate and ad spend ROI
• Regularly analyse site performance and user journey to identify customer touchpoints and assess end–to–end customer experience

About you:

• A strong retail trading mindset obsessed by the customer
• 5 years experience within a fast paced retail environment with proven performance of scaling online growth
• Tenacious approach to staying ahead of the market and identifying emerging trends
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a hands on, fast paced environment, leading from the front
