Assistant Chief Engineer - Facility Design

iO Associates is looking for a CONTRACT Assistant Chief Engineer (Facility Design) to work for an international defence company. They focus on providing a range of service solutions to enhance their customer's defence capabilities and critical assets.

This is a 6-months contract; you will be supporting the MIP Design Authority and MIP Office of the Chief Engineer in establishing and confirming facility design. They are looking for someone who can provide the expertise in governance and assurance of major project facility design.

Locations: Devonport
Hourly Rate: GBP60 per hour Inside IR35
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office)

A successful candidate will have:

• Good understanding of engineering design practice ie facility design.
• Experience of validation and verification (V&V) of engineering requirements.
• Working knowledge of engineering applications like MathCAD, Navisworks.
